The jagged, desolate landscape of El Malais is a volcanologist’s playground. A million years of volcanic activity sculpted the landscape. Numerous volcanoes and several lava flows generated the field of lava. The most recent volcanic activity was about 800 years ago. There are five layers of lava from McCartys Crater, Bandera Crater, Cerro Hoya, El Calderon, and Twin Craters, with a variety of volcanoes and volcanic features represented within the flows.

The 410,000-acre National Park Service portions of the expanded Monument were designated as Craters of the Moon National Preserve on August 21, 2002.

In January 2023, I looked closer at the edges of La Palmas latest eruption zone, where devastating streams of lava and inhabited areas merge into a grotesque scenery. The Paradise succumbs to the curse of its own creation. Yet again.

Landmannalaugar

Landmannalaugar is a location in Iceland's Fjallabak Nature Reserve in the Highlands. It is on the edge of the Laugahraun lava field. This lava field was formed by an eruption in approximately 1477. It is largely known for its natural geothermal hot springs and surrounding landscape.

my third time starting a new minecraft world has been Much more successful than my first two times. on account of how i spawned in an area that kind of had things like iron and sheep and a coastline (I GET LOST VERY EASILY) and I didn’t get immensely frustrated trying to find Anything At All. I did however try to get two sheep near me, realize very quickly that that’s really hard without wheat, break both leads I got, dig a ton of stupid holes trying to get the sheep into it, kill one sheep out of pure choices in anger rage, then realize you can’t make a bed with two different colors of wool after I had already killed the sheep,
